As much as I like Jameer Nelson, the Magic are gonna lose for 3rd yr. in a row due to Howard’s poor foul shooting. Watching him agonize at the line w/ 50% should make all players, teams or agents do something to not feel the same. Perhaps,The Foul Shot Doc?

As teacher, always great to see student succeed. “After my rookie season, Barry really helped me out. Not only did he work with me to correct some technical flaws in my shot, but he taught me some different ways to think about my free-throw shooting, jumper, and three-point shot. So much of the [...]

Old coaching adage, “live by the jumper, die by the jumper”. As Phoenix went to zone “D” yesterday, the Lakers began firing from the outside, instead of going inside, which is their strength for easy buckets or foul shots. Result 9-32 or 28% of 3 pointers. Game decided at foul line as Suns made 21 [...]

Had a really good time Friday evening doing a shooting clinic for Morrisville HS boys. Players paid attention and asked excellent questions. Changed and/or improved shooting techniques significantly. Shout out to Coach Orick Smith and Dave Reither, really caring and good guys. Look to work w/ them again real soon.

Looking forward to doing shooting clinic tonight for high school kids in Morrrisville,PA. Always fun to get on the court and help players improve their games. Doesn’t matter whether it’s little kids or NBA guys, it’s also great to lace ‘em up, hear b- balls bouncin’ and sneakers squeakin’.

Really dislike playoff format. After every other day of games, the Lakers-Suns series doesn’t start for about a week. Hate 2-3-2 games in Finals.

Not complainig but… in 1986 I coached Quinnipiac University to a 25-4 record, ranked 3rd or 4th in USA most of year and NCAA wins. I got $5,000 for the season and had to manage a hot dog joint to make ends meet. They recently signed coach to $1.5 million, 5 yr. deal.
